Spoiler alert, there was no love at first-sight. As the wise man says, "the more slowly trees grow at first, the sounder they are at the core". Meet the groom and bride!

Marc is a hardworking tech-savvy guy who loves nature. He grew up in a pasture lands in Hierden and was undoubtfully skillful in butchering his grandparents' chicken for dinner. At first glance, he seems cold and reserved but actually is a sweetheart. Marc is a huge nitpick, everything has to be planned months in advance. He is ruthless in playing board games, you would feel like he is competing for the hunger games.

Erina, on the other hand, is a free-spirited uptown girl who thought camping was only for hillbillies. She grew up most of her life in the concrete jungle of Jakarta. Filled with abundant creativity, she was the little girl who cut her mom's perfectly good curtains and turned it into (failed) Barbie dresses. She always says what she thinks, even if it is inducing a heart attack or a nuclear war. She is the kind of friend whom you would call for an impulsive getaway trip. 

Coincidentally introduced by Marc's relative in the beautiful city of Amersfoort, Marc and Erina met in a fateful Easter holiday. Both were just non-chalant to each other, they were packed with their separate life at the time. Erina was tied up with her academic research in Amsterdam and Marc was overstretched with his sailing program with the Royal Dutch Navy and NATO. 

These individuals with polar-opposites traits are predestined to fall in love in the fall of 2022. Unified by their fondness of metal music, foreign travels, and their admirations for each other. Soon after in the summer of 2023, Marc went down on one knee and asked Erina to marry him while they were hiking on the top of the alps in Tirol, Austria. And the rest is about to be written!
